Goal:
To access, generate and disseminate information relevant to the work of the Emancipation Support Committee, its members, the National African population and the general public.
Major Activities: –
- Annual Kwame Ture Memorial Lecture Series featuring public lectures by local & foreign lecturers from all areas of the African world/ Film & Video Presentations
- Production of Indaba Radio Programme / ESCTT Newsletter
- Technical Support to Stakeholder Groups
- Preparation / Mounting of Exhibits
- African History Caravan- roving Education Exhibition to Primary and Secondary Schools in Trinidad and Tobago
- Development and Dissemination of Emancipation Curriculum for Schools
- Research / Documentation of Information – African History Quiz and Spoken Word Competition
